Commanders Eisenhower, AKA Ike, is my three year old American Dutch Harness Horse. He joined the family last August. I am a 43 year old amateur rider who started taking dressage lessons in 2005 on my now retired off-the-track-Thoroughbred who didn’t always want to participate in my chosen activity. With Ike, I’m hoping with all fingers crossed that I have found a cooperative partner. I thought it would be fun to chronicle our ups and downs as we both continue to learn the art of dressage.
